The covers are slightly soiled with a diagonal crease to the front cover. 24 pages, with a title vingette, a full-page engraving and 22 textual engravings. The pages are foxed. Good. "Merrill's Pictorial Gallery. No. 1. Youth's Orinthology, Part I".The cover illustration is signed in type by the illustrator Harrison Eastman and the engraver Henry Walker Herrick.
