The edges of the wraps are discolored & there is a tiny chip to the front edge of the front wrap. [20] pages, including colophon & author's note. There is a light stain to the front endpaper. The contents are very good. Limited edition of 100 copies printed in March 1979 and hand-sewn by the proprietors. The series of poems "House of Eagles" constitutes Trade/3. This issue of the literary magazine was edited by Sharyn Sandborn, David Aardvark and Miekal And. Foss writes in an author's note: "I consider 'House of Eagles' one of the most effective pieces I've done in terms of language and communicating the relentless, inhuman quality of the natural world. I wrote it while i was a wilderness fire lookout in Oregon. I was at the timber-line for four months and experienced a different world, both environmentally and intellectually, than is usually associated with nature." Rare. Good .
