Illustrated with 2 black-and-white plates, including a frontispiece. The page edges are slightly darkened. The front edges of 2 rear leaves are chipped and there is a tear along the front edge of 1 rear blank. Good.

This play in three acts was Shaw's second book. The play opened at the Belasco Theatre on January 5, 1939, produced by the Group Theatre and directed by Harold Clurman. Good .
