Nagauta ["long song" in Japanese] is in its purest form, a lyrical form with texts that are poetic and allusive. It developed within Kabuki Theater in Edo and was originally several short songs strung together.
In the 1980s, the Finnish poet Arto Kytöhonka (1944-1992) was also one of the pioneers in the use of microcomputers among writers. He translated the interfaces of some programs into Finnish, developed a poetry generator, and wrote a word processing guide for ordinary computer users.
The text is in Finnish.
