The spine & extremities are darkened with the head & tail of the spine lightly chipped. The covers are rubbed & stained. 37 & [1] leaves, printed on one side only. There is an illustration in black & white on each leaf, followed by some brief text & a quotation. There is a gift inscription dated 1873 on the front endpaper. There is occasional foxing & light soiling with staining to several pages. Good.

A fictionalized account of a summer in the country in upstate New York with delightful illustrations. Among the locations mentioned are Sharon Springs, the Mohawk Valley and Otsego Lake in Otsego County. Good .
