The covers are rubbed & slightly warped with tiny white marks to the front cover. 131 & [2] pp. Profusely illustrated in B&W. There is an owner's ink name & address on the front pastedown & the front edges of the endpapers are darkened, else the contents are very good. The first section of the book deals with the history of the world's coinage from 700 B.C. to 1900; the second with American coinage from 1652 to 1900, with descriptions and pricing; the third with the market value of old Colonial and Confederate paper money, Confederate notes and fractional currency.
