San Francisco, CA: San Francisco Martime Museum, 1968. - Octavo, softcover bound in decorative red & cream wrappers. The wraps are lightly rubbed & slightly darkened along the top edges & spine. There is a small area of very light soiling to the front wrap. [24] pages. Black-and-white illustrations. The top edge is darkened with a tiny stain. Very good. An account of a 1912 journey on the "Wm. F. Herrin", a tanker with a cargo of California oil bound to Linnton, a few miles below Portland, on the Willamette River. The crew cut down some Christmas trees along the way and spent Christmas at Annabelle's hospitable house in Monterey.
