The spine is perished, the front wrap is partially detached & the contents are shaken. 56 pages. The bottom corners of the last 5 leaves are creased & the remaining page corners are lightly bumped. Good only.

Daniel Webster and the President were in New York State with several members of the Cabinet to join in celebrating the completion of the New York and Erie Railroad. Webster was invited to attend public dinners and give speeches in Buffalo, Syracuse and Albany. All the speeches address the subjects of the American Constitution and slavery. The Evening Mirror newspaper says of Webster in an introductory note: "He is THE Niagara of intelligence and his eloquence is articulate thunder." . Good .
