One of a series of papers read during the Center's sessions on Monday evenings to Fellows of the Center and members of the Faculty. Eric Holmberg, Director of the observatory at Uppsala, was a Fellow of the Center in the 1962-1963 year and read this paper on May 16, 1963. Very good .
