The titling on the spine is faded. x & 164 pp. B&W frontispiece, 14 B&W plates & profuse B&W textual illustrations from photographs by the author. As is common with this book, a number of pages have been roughly opened with tears to or pieces out of the front margins. There is occasional light soiling. Good. A fictionalized account of a New England farm boy at work and at play throughout the seasons of the year, based on Johnson's recollections of his own New England boyhood.
