The label is darkened & the spine is slightly darkened. The slipcase is lightly soiled & chipped. Title & 189 & [1] pages plus colophon. 30 illustrations by Jacquier, including a color frontispiece, 4 full-page color illustrations & textual illustrations in black on a cream ground. Very good. Number 219 of a limited edition of 1,600 copies. The book "has been printed on Arches paper by Robert MacLehose & Co. Ltd. and the illustrations in color have been stencilled by The Curwen Press which has also printed the binding cloth: the whole under the care of Francis Meynell" [from the colophon].
