St. Louis, Louisiana: 1904. - Approximately 4-1/2 inches in length, the tarnished silver (or silver-plated) spoon has the image of the Palace of Liberal Arts Building depicted within the bowl of the spoon. "1904 St. Louis" is printed along the handle. The top of the handle bears a portrait of Jefferson above the eagle with the American and French flags. Depicted at the top of the handle on the verso are the Cascade Gardens above the Louisiana Purchase Monument.Produced by U.S. Silver Co., so stated on the back of the handle.
