The spine is faded with the head & tail chipped. [iv] & 308 pp. B&W frontispiece, 1 B&W plate & B&W full-page & textual illustrations by Frederick C. Gordon. The hinges are cracked & the front endpaper is lacking. There is a contemporary owner's ink inscription on the verso of the frontispiece. Good only.
