Putnam's Sons, 1982). - Small oblong quarto [7-1/2 inches high by 8-1/4 inches wide], color pictorial stiff wrappers with a spiral plastic binding. The wraps are bumped with their edges slightly darkened & with light vertical creases near the spine. The rear cover is lightly soiled with small stains. 7 leaves printed in French fold on stiff white stock. 2 pictorial letters are printed on each leaf with cut-out circular windows beside them. A color pictorial wheel between each set of 2 leaves may be turned to reveal 4 different images for each letter of the alphabet [e.g. apple, ant, acrobat, ark] through the windows. The inner sides of the boards are darkened with some soiling, else the contents are very good. First American edition.
