This edition does not feature illustrations, other than on the covers. --- In grey cloth-covered boards with a color illustration of Hans to the cover, another of a windmill to spine. Undated, but possibly published c.1900-1916. Volume lacks a dust jacket. --- A Good-only copy, with a large brown dampstain to lower corner of covers, spine and textblock edge, and with prior owner's dated signature to front paste-down, else a sound, sturdy copy of this classic children's story. ; Small Octavo - 7-1/2 to 8 in. tall; (4), ii, 313 pages. Good with no dust jacket .
