Very Good. 1st edition, ( Salem edition ) wraps, with printed cover, bound in modern green boards with printed spine title label, 74 pp, two folding maps with an illusration of the murder weapon on the reverse of one of them. Covers Fine, text leaves a little browned, old light stain at bottom of first few leaves slightly affecting the folding maps, corner of one leaf worn slightly affecting a very few words. Ownership signature of Benj. F. Thomas at top of title page. Benjamin F. Thomas ( 1813 - 1878 ) was a member of the US House of Representatives from Massachusetts and a member of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
