She was a contemporary and acquaintance of the renowned Charles Rennie Mackintosh, whose name is synonymous with the Arts and Crafts movement, illustration and design. She designed and illustrated over 250 books in addition to greeting cards, bookplates and assorted items, even batik clothing designs. Today she is one of the most collected illustrators for the 1900-1940 era.A substantial part of her work is illustrated in color (an estimated 300 cover, endpapers and illustrations) on the accompanying CD-Rom.
