Dark brown leather spines and corners; gilt stamped titles and spine panel floral decorations. Marbled paper over boards. Top edges gilt, with untrimmed fore and bottom edges. Marbled endpapers. Tissue protected frontis engraving (the Ormonde coat of arms) in Volume 1. Both volumes are solid, with light edgewear and moderate rubbing to marbled paper. Volume 1 has an extremely narrow and faint line of dampness along very top edge of the blank margins. Volume 2 has damp wrinkling on 2 rear blank pages and rear endpapers. Good. Good.
