Small area of loss of leather on front cover, and leather is lightly marked and rubbed. Wear at spine-head. Bumped and scuffed corners. Partial loss of red spine-label. Paper covering front and rear hinges is split. Leather is split over most of front joint and top section of rear joint. Internal binding is sound. Water spill mark in lower margin of title-page, preface and subscribers' list. Pages are otherwise clean but darkened. Small bookseller's label at lower edge of rear end-paper.
