Bound in green paper boards with a black cloth spine with gilt spine printing, this book is clean, tight and straight. The edges are a little faded and there is slight wear to the lower front edge, plus the lower spine end is a trifle bumped from shelving. The price intact dust jacket is very clean and bright; it has some slight edgewear and some rubbing at the lower front edge. A very nice book and dj. 34 illustrations supplement this biographical telling of the life of Charles I, and how his obstinacy of belief and obliviousness to political reality led him to a public execution.
