New York, Triangle Books. 1942, 1st Triangle edition. Hard Cover, Duodecimo -- from 6.75" to 7.75" tall. Originally published in 1932 by D. Appleton and Company. Shortly before a state election a young man inherits his uncle's newspaper, and decides to change its direction, causing consternation to the old school which had controlled the publication during the earlier ownership. Dark green cloth w/black lettering/design to front cover, black lettering to spine, 388 pages. A bit of slant, light tanning, some dampstaining to back cover, in moderately edgeworn dust jacket w/light chipping to corners/spine ends, spine sunning, 3/4" tear to bottom edge of rear panel, another to top edge of same, dampstaining to rear panel/rear flap. Dust jacket in protective mylar sleeve. Very Good/Good.
