VIRASORO, M. (IMPRESO) Orden del día del Gobernador Delegado y Comandante General de Armas
Corrientes - Argentina, s/e, 1851. Wrappers. 4to 1 pp ills Good copy. ¶ Virasoro harangues the “soldiers of liberty.” He mentions the tranquil condition of the country, that arms only serve to guarantee it, and that the “purpose of arms is peaceful. You will never again march to a bloody fight with your brothers”. His desires did not coincide with reality since with in a little more than a year, Caseros said to his soldiers: “Applaud always the Great Rosas and the Illustrious Urquiza!” Clearly the current situation forced the country to confront a different reality. A beautiful provincial imprint, with a picture of a soldier on horseback playing a bugle.
