Description: [25], [1 blank] pp.Arnhem issue of the rare first edition of a beautiful set of 12 prints of sibyls with a letterpress title-page in Latin, a letterpress note about each sibyl in Latin and French on the facing page, and a Latin note to the reader above the note about the first sibyl. Although the title-page mentions only Crispijn de Passe (the elder), he made the series together with other members of the his family (Simon, Magdalena and Crispijn the younger) and his student Crispijn van den Queborn.
