It is the first translation of the original Latin edition published in Germany in 1609, with a volume containing facsimile prints of the 13 original copperplates including 10 double plates, a title-page, a portrait of the author (medical doctor in Leipzig, disciple of Paracelsus), and an emblem at the end of the atlas.
