Lacking errata page at end. Small lib. label (stamped withdrawn) on bottom margin of last page. Written by Edward Wigglesworth, first Hollis Professor at Harvard. It is his response to a tract by Anglican minister John Checkley who had been tried and fined by the General Court of Massachusetts for upholding the doctrines of the Church of England against the teachings of the puritan divines.
