4 1/4 x 6 1/2 inches. Original silver print. Fine condition. Ca. 1930s-40s. Stamped on verso: "The Taylor Museum for Southwestern Studies. Photograph by Laura Gilpin." A close-up view of Christ in the Holy Sepulchre by Juan Miguel Herrera with inventory number penciled on verso. This view shows the head and upper body of the figure from above with the top of the sepulchre open. Gilpin photographed objects for the Taylor Museum in Colorado Springs in the 1930s and '40s prior to moving to Santa Fe.
