Extremely rare publication about Ivan Unkovsky (1681-175?) and his travels during the Kalmyk region in the years 1722-1724. Unkovsky was an artillery captain in the army of Peter The Great and was send on an envoy to the Kalmyk-region and visit its leader Zyungar hun-tai chzhi Tsewang Rabtan.
