Description: London: Various Publishers, 1856-84. 1st Edition. First Printing. Leather. Uniformly bound in half green morocco over marbled boards, spines in six compartments separated by raised bands, gilt lettering in three compartments, t.e.g, marbled endpapers. Illustrated with tissue-protected frontispiece in the first volume of each novel. Original cloth spine and cover bound in at the end of each volume. Autograph letter signed by Charles Reade bound in the "Cream" volume. All volumes are First editions, first printings, or First English editions, first printing.
