Signed by Author; DJ in Mylar. ; Bottom fore corner bumped and worn, DJ chipped, with short tears; B&W Photographs; Vol 1 is a 2nd print from 1978, VG+ in a G+ DJ showing some edge wear, creasing, short tears, chip missing bottom edge. Vol. 2 is a 1st ed. with DJ in much the same condition as vol.1 McClure was a medical missionary serving the United Church of Canada who was born after his parents fled the Boxer rebellion in 1900. He spent his early years in China, returned to Canada for his education but returned to spend his 1st 25 years of medical practice. Volume 2 covers his later years, follows his medical career through Palestine, Peru and Zaire as well as his years as the first lay moderator of the United Church of Canada. Signed and dated by McClure and Scott on title page of volume 2. ISBN for Vol 1 is 0919000126. Very Good in Good+ dust jacket .
