At the age of 14 he was sentenced to hang, which sentence was commuted to life 4 months later. There was so much controversy over the case that he was quietly released to live under an assumed name. On August 28, 2007 the appeals court of the province of Ontario ruled that a gross injustice had been done to Truscott and he was completely cleared of the charges.. Very Good+ .
