DESMOND, COSMAS; FOREWORD BY NADINE GORDIMER.:  The Discarded People: An Account of African Resettlement in South Africa.

Slight crease to cover & page edge browning. Early in 1968, the black population - tenants and parishioners - were abritrarily removed from the author's mission in Natal and 'resettled' on an unprepared stretch of veld twenty miles away.
