Folio, ¶ A landmark in regional ornithogical publishing and scholarship. Volumes 1 and 2 illustrated in black and white, volumes 3 and 4 illustrated in colour. All volumes except Volume I are first editions. The first two were originally published by the Royal British Columbia Museum and the latter two were published by UBC Press. Volume 1 of this set published by UBC. All are non-circulating ex-library copies with minimal interior markings, no markings or labels whatsoever on the jackets. The jackets are in fine to near fine condition except for Volume 3 which has suffered from rough label removal on the front panel. Apart from from the library markings the most significant flaws are that Volume 3 has had it front hinge poorly repaired with tape and the rear joint on volume 4 has split at the bottom and has been repaired with book tape. There are tape remnant on the boards of all volumes. A very heavy, massive set, special shipping considerations will apply, contact us for a quote.
