Articles include "Thanksgiving Notes" by Mary J. Lincoln, "Training Children in Dietetics" and others, plus numerous recipes and period ads. A nice copy. Good.

Very mild shelfwear, contents clean, very neat notations and underlining to portions of text. Book was compiled by Lieutenant Charles Braden "to aid Camdidates in preparing for entrance to the United States Military Academy." The author further states the book "should be used in connection with one of the standard histories, as Swinton's or Barnes'." An early example of an exam preparation book for military education. Very Good.
