A very early edition of this title, by the author referred to by James Boswell as the "Prodigious Vendor of Literature." Good.

Owner's name in pencil on title page and pencilled notes on index page. Despite these imperfections, book is in well-preserved condition. A practical handbook for the 19th century jeweler. Good.
