Ill.: Photographic. cooking -- Indian, 150 g; 144 pages, indexed, and illustrated by photographs from Eric Carter. The first 32 pages have a glossary, preparation and cookery tips, suggested menus, and an explanation of the dining habits of the Indian subcontinent. The remainder of the book is recipes, illustrated with full-page colour photographs of prepared dishes. Colour illustrated dust jacket replicates the colour illustrated board beneath. There is a 1.0 inch tear at the bottom right-hand corner of the rear panel of the dust jacket. The author writes the various cooking magazines and has appeared on both television and radio, and acts as a consultant to a major British manufacturer of Indian ready-made meals. The book covers everything from the entree till the final dessert. Very Good/Good.

The text is illustrated with beautiful colour photography by David Armstrong and the occasional colour illustration within the text. Photographic laminated covers with red and black titles to the front panel and backstrip. A little rubbing to the book corners and to the corners of the backstrip. A few dust marks to the top text block edge. Photographic dustwrapper, same illustration as for underlying board, with black and red titles to the front panel and backstrip. Minor creasing to the dustwrapper edges. A small close tear to the top right-hand corner of the backstrip. 50 recipes from India in the Balti style. The recipes are both delicious and speedy and a majority of the dishes are curries. Digital image available upon request to help assess condition.
