SALAMAN, MALCOLM C. (EDITOR)  Fine Prints of the Year 1927: An Annual Review of Etching and Engraving
Halton & Truscott Smith/Minton, Balch & Co. 1927, First Edition. Hard Cover. This is Volume V for the year ending October 1927. The incomparable resource: British and some other prints; American etchers with European publishers, etchers in America, and Directory of etchers and engravers with a list of the plates published or executed in 1927, and a list of publishers of original etchings and engravings. As if that weren't enough, there are the plates! Among the 100 plates for 1927 I found a neatly mysterious street scene by Blampied; John Copley's three bathers; a Kenneth Hobson aquatint of a Bank of England courtyard; Rampart Street in New Orleans by Childe Hassam; and a wonderful Hopper interior. A Very Good binding, sunned to the spine and around the edges, slight wear to spine ends and corners. Very Good/Lacking the Dust Jacket.
