Wonderful cross-fertilization idea for an exhibition curated by Anne Trueblood Brodzky and Marcus de Lontra Costa. The Brazilians include Beatriz Milhazes, Chico Cunha, Cristina Canale, Karin Lambrecht, Luiz Zerbini, and Victor Arruda. Of the others, there's one of my favorite neo-medievalists, William T. Wiley, whose work looks for all the world as if he'd painted it in Rio, as well as Oliver Jackson, Kim Anno, Larry Thomas, Violet Fields, and Leigh Hyams.
