New York. Grosset & Dunlap. 1927. First Edition Photoplay edition with illustrations from the movie Illustrated with scenes from the photoplay. A Warner Bros. Production directed by Alan Crosland, starring Al Jolson. A very handsome copy in finely woven blue cloth stamped brightly in black on the front boards and the spine. Very clean and tight internally with previous owner's name and address in blue ink on the front endpaper. In an attractive pictorial dustjacket featuring a drawing in color of Al Jolson and fellow musicians on the front panel. Some darkening and flecking to the spine. With light chipping and wear to the top and bottom corners of the spine and the extremities. A very handsome, collectible first edition in the scarce dustjacket.
