This is the internationally renowned story of Anne Frank, and her family, who hid in a building annex in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, from 1942-1944, before being betrayed to the Nazis and shipped off to concentration camps, where Anne and her sister Margot died of typhus, Anne was just 15 years old. Her father Otto was the only one of the eight from the Annex who survived the war. Anne wrote in a diary she had recieved on her 13th birthday, chronicling the everyday life of hiding in the annex, with her family and then four others, always afraid of betrayal and discovery.
