| (MARSHALL, HENRY RISSIK)., Armorial Worcester Porcelainof The First Period: Specimens from The Marshall Collection in The Ashmolean Museum and Other Sources. England, Percy Lund, Humphries & Co. 1964. Softbound. VG. Printd stiff wraps. unpaginated, 24 vivid color reproductions on 4 tipped- in sheets. Â ¶ These color images are made from original paintings that this author had created by the late H. Norman Eataugh. The "author" is really the collector who collected and donated his collection of Armorial Porcelain to the Ashmolean Museum prior to his death in 1957. The two-page unsigned essay briefly touches upon the history of armorial porcelain and also the collecting habits of Mr. Marshall, as well as the unfinished manuscript that he left upon his death. The color reproductions in this small booklet are superb. Although modest in form, the reproductions in this booklet are invaluable to the study of this topic.
