There is one faint stain, similar to an old oil stain on the front cover, to the left of center about 1 inch across that is light. There is another faint circular stain remnant along the top edge of the board center, where a coffee cup may have rested for a moment 60 or 70 yearsd ago. There is very slight fraying to the boards edges and spine base cloth. There is a 1/2 inch rip in the top spine cloth that could be expertly repaired, or left alone to no significant detriment. The first two blank sheets have light smudges on them from where someone with soiled fingertips handled the page edges. The third blank sheet has a faint red line stamp from the library which formerly owned this book, which library also has contributed a small numerical reference at the base of the spine. There is scattered and occasional evidence that the person with the smudged fingertips accessed the interior port. 3/4 cloth covers with printed paper covered boards.
