London, Baldwin, Craddock & Joy. 1922, Eleventh. Hard Cover , 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. This is the eleventh edition, revised, corrected and rearranged. Covers fresh water fishing for perch, tench, trout, salmon etc. Also fishing rods, bait and the types of and flies - real or artificial etc. With material on the weather, using a barometer or not etc. Additionally how to land a pike, 'trolling?' and the law concerning fishing then. It has a quarter leather binding with very nice new dark marbled boards and new free endpapers. The whole of which have been professionally and skillfully applied. The leather is in very good condition with no signs of cracking etc. Gold tooled title in red leather on the brown leather spine. As is usual with a book of this type, there are signs to the pages - in the form of spotting - of it having been taken out and used, 'in the field' on fishing expeditions. There are no torn pages. 1 frontispiece illustration depicting 13 tied artificial flies. A previous owner's inscription on a front endpaper. 255pp. A further 2 page glossary and a 3 page index. This is an attractive little book in very good condition and in a protective bag. Very Good.
