Blue cloth boards have minor bumping to spine ends, and fading corresponding to the bits of missing d/w, but small gilt picture of a horseman on front board is still bright. Previous owner's name and ''1947'' on f/fl. Internally a good clean copy of this book dealing with the author's experiences in Persia (Iran) during WW2, when he was stationed there with the British army in Kermanshah and in Qom.
