Light fading and rubbing to the jacket. Minor edgewear with some scuffing and a small tear along the top front flap hinge. Some pulling to upper jacket spine. Heavy staining apparent on the interior of the jacket along the rear hinge in the spine area, that seems to be the result of water exposure to the spine of the book. This subsequently led to the dye of the book cloth to color the interior of the jacket blue. No evidence of this visible to the outside of the jacket. The book itself has minor soiling, rubbing and fading, especially in the areas where it may have been exposed to water. Interior is clean and solid with no trace of water exposure. The first two front endpapers have a 1 inch tear at their lower edge. Small trace of blue dye on the upper page edges near the spine. Overall a GOOD jacket and book. Good/Good.
