A genealogical history of the Collins Family descended from Lt. James Collins (1740-1790). With black and white photos throughout. VERY GOOD condition with minor soiling, scuffing and fading to the covers. Spine giltwork faded. Text clean and solid with a very lengthy gift inscription on a ffep and minor darkening to the pages. Very Good/No Jacket.

Also included is a large fold out chart in a rear pocket, depicting the family tree and lineages of the Amory family. With this, laid in at the rear are many newspaper article clippings pertaining to the Amory family. A genealogy and biographical history of the descendants of Hugh Amory, with in depth history of the activities of many members of this family, especially in early Boston, Massachusetts. Printed by the Chiswick Press, noted for their fine printing and typography in Britain, having published some early William Morris designs. In GOOD condition. Very heavy scuffing to the rear panel, with moderate scuffing to the spine and front panel. Moderate to heavy fading and some soiling to the covers. Spine very faded. Extremities scuffed and bumped. Interior clean and solid with previous owner's inscriptions on the first front endpapers. Nice heavy stock paper with ornamental initials at the beginnings of each chapter, as well as decorative headers. Solid copy in GOOD condition, with moderate to heavy wear to the exterior. Good/No Jacket.
