| Child and man: a magazine for the education founded by Rudolf Steiner. 18 issues between 1947 and 1958 Ilkeston, Derbyshire, The Rudolph Steiner Educational Association. Paperback. 8vo, wrappers. This magazine was published by Rudolf Steiner schools. It suspended publication during WWII, and the new series began in 1947. Each issue of the magazine offered here is a stapled booklet of between 10 and 40 pages. The issues in this set are: Volume I (new series) nos 1 (June 1947), 4 (Nov 1948), 7 (June 1949), 8 (Sept 1949); Volume 2 nos. 4 (Jan 1951), 4 & 5 (double volume with plates); Volume IV no. 1 (Midsummer 1954), no. 5 (Midsummer 1955), no. 7 (Christmas 1955); Volume IV no. 8 (Easter 1956), no. 9 (Mid-summer 1956, 2 copies. These last 2 issues are given as Vol V nos 8 and 9 on the title pages, there is an apology for the confusion on p.3 of this issue, but it is still unclear whether this issue should have been Vol V, no.1); Volume V no. 2 (Michaelmas 1956, 2 copies), no. 3 (Christmas 1956, 2 copies), no. 4 (Easter 1957, 2 copies), no. 5 (Midsummer 1957, including a newspaper cutting on Rudolph Steiner schools), a Christmas 1957 double number with no issue number given, presumably nos. 6 and 7, Volume V no. 8 (Easter 1958) and Volume V Michaelmas-Christmas 1958.
