Private Binding, Full red morocco with stamped vinescroll ornament to spine picked out in gilt & gilt lettering, binding by Flammarion Vaillant, top edge gilt, beautiful crimson and purple marbled endpapers, almost certainly a unique book containing double-page tables for notes on 150 different wines as consumed by the connosieur including checknotes for up to 300 tastings each, price, vintage, vintner and so forth; of these only the first two have been filled out in ornate script, dating the book's use to between 1922 and 1925, there is slight rubbing to the cover over the hinges and at top corners, otherwise no further faults, a real curiosity but also a handsome one.
