Pictorial wrappers, few closed tears along spine, one small chip, the wrapper has pulled loose from the spine but is otherwise intact, small smudge on foreedge, text block stapled but otherwise internally clean and tight. One of the old Chiefs' Colleges from pre-Partitition India, the College was still an institution for the elite in 1957-58. An interesting publication about this still important school of the new Muslim country. Some ties to the pre-Partition period, prior Hindu staff and Hindu 'old boys' are mentioned without rancor. The author was an economics professor at Emerson College, Multan at the time of writing. He published several other works, usually involved with an Islamic theme.
