Hard Cover. 267pp. Covers parts of Lancashire and the Lake District including the Fylde, Silverdale, "Seaside, lakes and Mountains of Cumberland" etc. Tales of the locals use dialect, Waugh being most famous as a dialect novelist. Quarter bound with red cloth and gilt titles to spine. Marbled papers to boards. Possibly missing free front endpaper. Cloth is faded to spine and worn to spine ends. Board is expossed to all corners and some edges. Binding is sound. Good, sound copy.
