Several black and white plates and integral black and white illustrations throughout. Illustrated endpapers. Old tape mend to end papers. Appart from missing palte all pages appear to be present but some are loose. Rubbed with expossed board to corners. Splitting to gatherings. Fair copy. Quarter bound in green leather with green papers to boards. A colour illustated pastedown to the front board is neat and complete but has some foxing and browning especially to white areas. Split to internal front hinge though contents is still attached. Sunday school prize plate 9dated 1947); previous owner's name and address neatly to prelim; light pencil drawing to prelim; some of the black and white line drawings have been neatly coloured in, in coloured pencil.
